Ecotourism is about
uniting environmental protection, empowering the local community, and educating travelers and local communities.

We are monitoring, protecting & researching rare animals (musk deer, Roe & Red deer, marmot…)
Guests are educated in terms of the protection, respect for the wildlife we are protecting through PowerPoint slides and board.
Hiking trails are carefully marked and maintained.
We are planting numerous plants (wild onion of Altai, buckthorn), and trees such as cedar, spruce…
We are reducing our carbon footprint by planting an organic garden and buying locally except wine, cheese.
Organic waste is used as forage and compost in the gardens
We powered by SOLAR PANEL.
We are using Eco-friendly composting toilets.
Treated grey water is used to irrigate the larger grassed areas and used for trees.
We recycle (regularly collect & clean garbage around the camp withing 5 kilometers area)
All non-organic waste is transported off the property to the Hatgal municipal dump site.
All firewood in the camp is sourced from firewood’s and fallen trees.
The sauna room is only activated when guests request sauna treatment.
An internal and external environmental audit is carried out on an annual basis.

We work with purpose to develop tourism based on local people, which is very important for both the environment and locals.
Every year we collaborate with Eco-club students and conservation communities to share our environmental activities.
We organize training and workshops about our Eco-activities, Khuvsgul Lake features, and the benefits of protecting nature every year.
Every year we host numerous TREE and WILD ONION planting events for Eco -club students to learn about the importance of conservation.
We provide valuable information about environmental awareness and motivate our tourists to participate in our Eco-activities.
Our guest volunterly participate in our Eco-activities and gain some ecological educations.
We offer Eco-tours (flower and fauna watching, wildlife safari, horseback riding, hiking, conservation activities)
We support and engage with environmental researchers and learn from each others.
We provide information “ECOTALK” to our guests and local people about environmental awareness.

Every member of our staff, including top management is from local Hatgal region.
We help herders earn a living by participating horseback riding.
We are supporting & cooperate with local BOAT & JEEP drivers.
We buy meat, milk & dairy products from local herders.
We employ local students & help their tuition’s, and encourage their interest in TOURISM field.
We aim to hire gender and age equity.
Everyone’s voice has the power to help reach our goal; therefore, we always listen carefully to our staff’s and local people’s opinions.
We share our environmental activities with local conservation communities and other tourist camps.

It is gratifying to see that the livelihoods of local people are improving through tourism.
Not only did the children of the Eco Club become interested in growing onions in practice and wanting to come back every summer, but local communities also wanted to participate in our environmental activities.
Tourists are happy to see animals such as marmot, roe deer and foxes through binoculars and observe their behavior and take pictures. We aim to become an Ecotourism model.
