Sustainability in Mongolia

 Our camp follows the World Tourism Organization’s sustainable development policies which defined the organization’s policies for sustainable tourism based upon ideas to protect the environment and to promote positive social-cultural, and economic values.

  • To involve tourists in nature conservation.
  • To establish a model that can protect nature through tourism.
  • To protect biodiversity of Ar Davhar Peninsula.
  • To protect wildlife of Ar Davhar Peninsula from poachers.
  • To make soil erosion less.
  • To use of environmentally friendly equipment’s.
  • To favor the acquisition and use of materials, substances both liquids and solids that are biodegradable.
  • To reuse waste water from the camp in an environmentally friendly manner.
  • To reduce plastic usage and reach the goal of zero plastic.
  • To support and collaborate with environmental organizations, defend the biodiversity of Khuvsgul Lake.
  • To share our environmentally friendly activities with local people & childrens.
  • To clean and collect garbage regularly within 5 kilometers area from our camp.
  • To involve local people in tourism in order to improve the livelihood of local people.
  • To give preference to local suppliers to stimulate the local area’s economy and support residents of our communities.
  • To support environmental local community, schools and non-profit organizations.
  • To motivate our employees to participate in tourism and conservation activities and provide possible information.
  • To reward employees who work in an exceptional manner with incentives, monetary and otherwise.
  • To generate a positive work environment and operate based on mutual trust.
  • To participate in neccessary inspections of the park.
  • To prepare our camp worker on their way to becoming true environmentalist.

  • To educate our personal to at all times treat their fellow employees and guests in a friendly and positive way

  • To give preference to hiring people from the local communities without consideration of race, religion, sex or political affiliation.
  • To respect the culture and traditions of the area- It is the local culture that the tourists are often coming to visit
