Ar Davhar Peninsula Eco Tourist camp is not your ordinary tourist camp.
We try to make everyday EARTH DAY.
So
we make sure that all our energy comes from the sun and wind, we collect rainwater to reuse in the planting our garden, we also use composting toilets to reduce water usage, and we do a clean peninsula to keep GREEN and WILD.
Also, we are trying to ditch plastic usage, and much more.
All with love for nature and mother earth.

The most effective way to reduce waste is to not create it in the first place.  

So We Reduce

  • we try to ditch the plastic usage
  • we banned plastic scrolls/plates/spoon/cups/plates
  • we use cardboard boxes to collect garbage at guest ger instead of using plastic bags
  • we invested in a filter pitcher instead of using bottled water.
  • we use a composting toilet.
  • we use solar energy.
  • we collect rainwater to plant plants and trees.
  • we plant our vegetables.
  • we try to buy local food (except wine, cheese)
  • we use natural air conditioning & more.

  • we reuse jars/cardboard/glass bottles.
  • we use old wood as firewood or woodcrafts.
  • we try to reuse newspapers & magazines for packaging.
  • we reuse kitchen waste for composting the garden.
  • we reuse gray water to water the trees.
  • we reuse large plastics for storage or garden.

Recycling is crucial to the future health of our planet.

  • we recycle plastic which means less plastic -good thing.
  • we recycle glass bottles for storage.
  • we recycle food waste for making a forage for our animals.
  • every week we clean up surrounding areas.
  • we clean and collect Somoo Saridag (wish rock) area every two weeks.
