-Community-

Our camp is created and managed by local NATURE LOVERS.

Wherever we live in the world, we belong to a specific type of community. The particular community and world we live in sustain us, and therefore we must sustain them. We respect our COMMUNITY and MOTHER EARTH. We choose to support our community whenever possible.

-Conservation-

Ar Davhar peninsula’s spectacular location is a luxury in itself. We are located on the beautiful Ar Davhar peninsula, within the territory of Khuvsgul National park, one of the Mongolian’s treasures surrounded by the pristine waters of Khuvsgul lake, unique flora and fauna, and many wild animals. .

At Ar Davhar peninsula, we always to help preserve and protect biodiversity and natural beauty of Ar Davhar peninsula.

-Culture-

The only thing that differentiates us is our culture. We believe that celebrating cultural differences and diversity is just as crucial as maintaining biodiversity.

We respect the culture in our community and the traditions of the area. It is the local culture that the tourists are often coming to visit.

 -Children & Nature-

It is our responsibility to educate future generations about conservation.

We welcome both international and local Eco Club students every summer, providing ecological education, and giving them the opportunity to get to know their MOTHER EARTH by participating in our environmental activities.

-Ecotourism-

Today tourists are looking to travel to pristine and aesthetically pleasing locations to experience something authentic and beautiful. Sadly, it is usually these environments that are the most fragile and susceptible to outside impacts.

At Ar Davhar peninsula, we chose ECOTOURISM because ecotourism is not driven by economic gains. Instead, it focuses on educating tourists on traveling green, and our long term goal is to develop tourism as a tool to protect the environment.

-Plant for the Planet-

We are planting trees and making a small contribution to our environment, and we plant wild onion of Altai, and more.

We are planting cedar, spruce, and pine to increase MUSK DEER nutritional resources. Mostly Eco-club and conservation communities are actively involved in these great deeds..

-In our Garden-

Using local produce and growing our garden is better for the environment and cuts down CO2 emissions by avoiding long travel.

Here at our eco camp besides delicious Mongolian cuisine, you will taste 100% organic freshly grown vegetables (wild onion, potatoes, tomatoes, cucumber, radish, beans, different types of salad leaves & more) everyday.

-Everyday Sustainability-

We make everyday EARTH DAY.

At the Ar Davhar, we reduce environmental impact by reusing gray water to plant trees, collecting rainwater to water our garden, reusing paper, cardboard, glass bottles, large plastic containers, kitchen scraps, and human waste onsite. Trash is separated into three receptacles in all Gers.

-Eco-Friendly Technology-

We are powered by solar panels and use composting toilets, making us Khuvsgul’s most Eco-friendly tourist camp. As you know, the Gers are designed with eco-friendly materials and are connected by trail walkways to minimize soil erosion and fauna disruption.
