We have gathered the most frequently asked questions here for you to get help as quickly as possible. We hope you will find the information very useful.
Reaching our remote location is not that hard from Hatgal town. If you are flying from Ulaanbaatar, the capital city of Mongolia, to Hatgal airport, we can pick you up at the airport.
From Hatgal town you have 2 alternatives:
1. transferring by road to the camp (approximately 1 hour)
2. transferring by boat to the camp (approximately 30minutes)
The Ar Davhar Peninsula Eco Camp is open from mid-May until mid-September. Less crowded time of the year is in June and August, and Mongolia is busiest during the Naadam period (July 11 – 13).
We recommend a stay of three to four nights. A minimum of two nights is recommended for shorter stays.

None of Gers at the Ar Davhar Peninsula Eco camp have an inside bathroom facilities, but we have classy and comfy composting toilet and heated showers.
Meal times depends on your scheduled activity but start from 4:30 am onward. Please let your Tour Specialist if you are vegetarian or have any special dietary needs.
For emergency uses, there will be internet access and a phone in our Camp’s office.
Each Gers are powered by solar energy so 24/7 you can charge your phone and camera batteries.
Most of our tours are personalized, but we do have suggested itineraries. We are also more than happy to assist in planning for other itineraries not just around Khuvsgul Lake, but to different parts of Khuvsgul.
Maximum occupancy is 4 adults per Ger, however we do have bigger sized Gers.
